One of the largest rose gardens in Japan, Kanoya Rose Garden features approximately 35,000 rose bushes spread across an 8-hectare(20acres) site.
The spacious grounds are divided into themed areas, including the “Royal Garden,” which showcases roses named after royalty and nobility, and the “Fragrance Garden,” where visitors can enjoy a wide variety of rose scents. Inside the greenhouse, visitors can also enjoy picking roses. (NOTE: Additional fee required).
In spring and fall, the garden hosts the popular “Kanoya Rose Festival”, attracting many visitors each year. Exclusive treats such as the original “Rose Soft-Serve Ice Cream” and “Rose Curry” are also local favorites.

Even outside the rose season, visitors can appreciate many other seasonal blooms, including cherry blossoms, muscari, hydrangeas, sunflowers, and cosmos.

◆ Bringing Pets into the Park
Visitors who enter the park with pets are required to always keep them on a collar and leash.
Long (extendable) leashes are not permitted.
Please also observe basic etiquette, including cleaning up after your pet.
